Confessions of a Crossdressing Filmmaker

Hi. I’m a youngish crossdresser who dabbles in making of films about and for crossdressers. This blog will chronicle my journey in this rare avocation—as well as talk about other things in the realm of crossdresser entertainment that you might find interesting.

I always dreamed of making movies or television, but knew I didn’t have the stomach to struggle for years in the industry. So I did computer programming and business stuff, instead. Hated it the whole time. So I just contented myself with collecting books, movies, and TV shows that featured crossdressing and other gender-variant topics.

Then, one day, inspired by a friend who was selling sports videos on ebay, I took some of the TV shows I’d collected over the years, things that weren’t available in any other form, transferred them to DVD, and put it on ebay, to see if there was anybody else out there who liked this stuff. I called it, “TV Treasures”. (I’m sure you get the double-meaning…clever, huh? Yeah.) Well, it turned out that there were other people who liked this stuff. So I made more, and I took some of the money I made from that and made my first movie, Silk Seduction.

It was a risky move, because I couldn’t be sure if what I wanted to see in a crossdressing movie was something that anybody else wanted to see. All of the films and shows that I’d ever seen that had crossdressing lacked a certain element, which makes sense, since they weren’t really made for crossdressers. My movie would be the first to satisfy my tastes. But would anybody else want to see it?

Well, turns out, they did. My first film, Silk Seduction, sold enough for me to make a second movie. The second one, Satin Dreams, has also gotten a lot of praise and sold briskly. When I get time, I'll talk about what it's like to make crossdressing movies.

I'm looking forward to the new release Satin Dreams. Looks like a great idea; like a Sandy Thomas book. Thanx for fulfilling a need.
